Open-source FP&A, calculated on your computer
Understand your results.
Test your decisions.
Keep your model.
An open-source financial planning application for small and midsize businesses. Connect your files and operating drivers to understand margin, anticipate cash, and prepare your next decisions. The calculation runs on your computer; you keep the code and your configuration.
For owners and managers of small and midsize businesses who have accounting records and operating data, and want a clearer view of what lies ahead.

Concrete questions
- Where will cash stand at year-end if nothing changes?
- Why is August margin below budget: price, volume, or something else?
- If I hire in January, what happens to full-year profit?
- How does the approved budget compare with what is now taking shape?
- What changed since the last saved forecast?
Your operating drivers, connected to your financials
A result does not appear on its own. It comes from volume, price, utilization, headcount, and costs that may or may not move with activity. The model connects these drivers to your financial statement lines. The rules are saved and reused each month. Each assumption then flows through to profit and cash.
Illustrative example · fictional figures
A consulting firm has 8 consultants, 210 available days per person, and a daily rate of €650. Raising billable utilization from 68% to 72% adds €43,680 of revenue: 8 × 210 × €650 × (72% − 68%). Payroll stays unchanged; variable costs follow activity. The model shows the effect on margin and, after customer payment terms, on cash month by month.
One model, from configuration to the monthly review.
The local application is installed on your computer. Setup is guided.
The following month
Add the newly closed month. The application compares the saved forecast with the new forecast over the same periods, line by line. Variances are separated into price, volume, budget phasing, and an unexplained remainder. Record an observation or decision with its figures, then review it against actuals. The saved rules remain in place and can be revised when the business changes.
What stays with you
The rules are saved and reused each month. Our application does not send your amounts to our servers.
On your computer
The calculation runs on your computer. The account stores metadata, names, and rules.
Readable
Your accountant or IT team can review the code and rules before running them.
Durable
The configuration is an asset: you return to it each month, and it survives a change of provider.

- Support with interpretation and decisions is available separately.
Who it is for, and its limits
- One company, one currency, Excel or CSV accounting exports, a monthly reporting rhythm, and someone who can confirm the mappings.
- Tested on a hotel case; manufacturing and service cases are still being validated.
- It does not handle bookkeeping, statutory close, consolidation, or multiple currencies.
- The model calculates; the assumptions remain yours.
What still depends on a third party
Stated plainly, because that is what makes the rest credible.
| Element | Depends on | If it disappears |
|---|---|---|
| Calculations, statements, forecasts, scenarios | Your computer and R (free, open-source software) | Keeps running |
| Your files and amounts | Your computer | Our application does not send your amounts to our servers. |
| Confirmed rules and mappings | A configuration file on your computer; a copy in your account | Keeps running from the local file |
| Online configurator and account | Us (hosted) | You retain the last published configuration; online editing is no longer available |
| Assistant suggestions (columns, labels) | An external AI provider; it receives labels and context, never amounts | You map them manually; the engine is unaffected |
| Product improvements | Us | You continue with the version already in place. It runs on your computer, with your files, without us or an AI provider. |
Explore the demo, then configure your business.
Your account stores metadata, names, and rules (file paths, company, operating mechanisms); amounts remain on your computer. If you ask for help naming columns, only the labels and configuration context are sent.
